Kiln Drying & Heat Treating

- Kilns utilize low pressure steam, providing a consistent heat distribution throughout the kiln, preventing overheating, and surface baking.
- Direct steam spray is applied to control the humidity and dampen the woods surface. This relieves internal drying stresses, preventing splits, checks and case hardening.
- Capable of drying hardwood and softwood lumber, plywood, poles, shakes and shingles
- Capable of tight pile heat treating material 4” or less in thickness.
- PLIB HT certificate can be provided upon request
